Expansion Slot

Bright Lights introduces the Expansion Slot, an innovative addition that commences with this release and extends fresh content to various heroes beyond those prominently featured in the product itself.

The Expansion Slot takes the place of a token in roughly 1 out of 15 boosters, paralleling how Cold Foils have recently replaced token slots in Flesh and Blood boosters.

Expansion Slot cards represent high-rarity selections that fulfill either of the following roles:

  • Expand the narrative scope within the broader world of Rathe.

  • Broaden the tournament card selection by incorporating classes and/or talents outside the primary focus of the product.

  • Serve as a means to reintroduce essential cards, such as Fyendal's Spring Tunic, which stands among the potential discoveries within the Bright Lights Expansion Slot.

During booster drafting, the Expansion Slot cards are extracted from the pack and retained by the individual who opens them—akin to the handling of Cold Foils in earlier sets. Simply remove the final 2 cards from the booster prior to initiating each draft pack. These will either comprise 2 token cards or 1 token along with an Expansion Slot card or premium foil card like Extended Art, Legendary, or Cold Foil.
